TGI Thursday

I have tomorrow off so I may have dressed more casually today than I should have because it felt like Friday.

Sweater: Danier via Value Village
T-shirt: Old Navy
Pants: Lilith from NYC
Shoes: Vivienne Westwood for Melissa

Everything is thrifted except for these pants which cost.... well I'm not going to tell you that but I think they were worth every penny. They have everything that I like about pants - mid-calf length, big pockets, wide legs. Irresistible!

Like I said above, I have the day off tomorrow but I'm probably going to end up spending the day helping my husband move stuff into his new photo studio. Hopefully I'll be able to sleep in a little bit.

Also got my hairs cut after work. My red is nice and bright again. A shout out to my peeps at Jay Wells to whom I showed my blog tonight. *waves*

  1. Love the hair! Is it only red on two stripes (I think I see another stripe there?)?

Danier makes great quality clothing - nice score.

Those pants are crazy cool. I struggle with that shape on me, but I love how they are gathered on the outside hem. Such a nice detail.

    Enjoy your day off!

  4. Love the updated hair! The pants are what really make this outfit, so definitely worth every penny. I love those pockets.

  5. I also shop a lot at Value Village. Some people say they are expensive, but it depends for what. Their tops are sometimes the same price as new, but you can get a good deal on used designer brands, jeans and skirts.

I was curious about something, as a bureaucrat, do your co-workers ask you "what's the occasion"? I also work for a government agency, and my co-workers seem to think I'm overdressed. I'm gothic, but a very toned-down, work-appropriate version (you can see my outfits on my blog). I don't look at all like I'm going to a club, or even to a date with my husband.
