A stormy summer is rolling closer

Holy crazy rain today. Good thing I wore my rubber boots since it just keep raining and pouring and raining some more.

So I wore blue. Many shades of blue.

Jacket: Lilith (last worn here)
Top: Michael Kors
Pants: Smoking Lily (last worn here)
Shoes: Jump (last worn here)

I was considering parting with these shoes since I haven't worn them in 6 months but I think I'm going to keep them for a while longer. I like the t-bar shape but I'm not really a fan of the heel.

I bought this blouse in 2009 at Filene's Basement in Washington DC. It's very stretchy and bouncy. I like how the pleats make the fabric drape at the bottom. Like ripples in water.

I don't really have much to say about this outfit other than it's blue, comfortable, and I should probably wear this top more often than I've worn it in the last 3 years.

  1. Contrary to your opinion, I actually adore the heel on those shoes. They look similar to my All Saints boot heel. My Jump boots quickly got donated, their sizing is wonky and so is their quality. I wish the brand were a little better because I do like a lot of their designs and admired them for many months.

I actually had an almost identical blouse: http://www.meganmaedaily.com/2011/09/loving-layers.html I can't remember why I got rid of it, but I think it was slightly too long/big on me. I had it bunched up in the back with the belt.

Sorry bout all the rain. Many of us south of you could use it. If only weather could be pushed around.

  2. I adore that jacket! The bustle effect is wonderful!

I like the shoes, but that cone-shaped heel can be tippy.

I hope the rain goes away for you soon!

  3. Very cute outfit! I love that jacket and those shoes are so very cute. I love shoes with interesting heels and those have a retro vibe to them, too.

  5. Love the blue top - and I think the heel on those shoes is pretty cute, plus the T bar is great.

  6. I like all the blue!

Not much rain here, just super hot weather.

Send some of your rain to Colorado in the States - they need it super bad right now with the fires.

  7. I love the peaceful vibe this outfit gives off, with all the soothing blues and grays.

I would never give up those shoes. Unless we wear the same size. Then you should give them to me :P
