I'm under Japanese influence And my honour's at stake

I spent most of the day in bed hopped up on pain killers and muscle relaxers. I have a bad back and about 2-3 times a year I pull a muscle in my upper back, between my shoulder blades, and end up immobilized. It can be very painful and a pain in the neck. HAHAHA! Yeah, it's not really funny.

I was feeling a bit better by late afternoon, either that or the pain killers made it so I didn't care anymore. We went out for a quick dinner and some ice cream. It was good to get out of the house after being cooped up all day.

Dress: Desigual
Leggings: Mexx
Shoes: Fluevog Prepares | Guide

I wore almost this exact same outfit here just different leggings.

These shoes and this dress seem like a natural fit. Both are fun and funky.

  1. This dress is wild and fun, as such it's perfect for those guides.

So happy looking - I'd like to think it's mostly you and not just the pain meds.

  2. Sorry about the back pain! I experience similar problems with my bum arm. Sometimes it'll freeze up and I can't do anything without pain for a few days. Hope you're feeling better very quickly.

The desigual dress goes great with the guides! The colors are spot-on. I think that dress is my fav desigual dress I've seen. I really love the print. Surprising, because I am not usually a floral fan.

  7. Sorry to hear about the back - I've been taking muscle relaxants and anti-inflamatories for my "tennis elbow" (more like "computer elbow) so I empathize! Love the dress, and I saw those shoes in the Fluevog store when I was in Toronto this week and they were my favourites! You do have a wonderful smile in this photo - perhaps it's the meds?

  9. Love the cheerful outfit, and so glad you were able to get up and around. As an upper back pain sufferer myself, I know that is such a miserable back experience. I'm working with physical therapists and a neuromuscular masseuse to hopefully work through some of the pain and build up my upper back muscles with a home exercise program, including swimming. I keep thinking if it hurts this bad in my 40s, what will it be like in my 50s and 60s :(
