Black....and a break

This is the final pair of shoes that I bought in Toronto.

Skull shoes from Steve Madden.

I just noticed that the one on the left looks meaner.

Sweater: Pretty Things Boutique (last worn here)
Dress: Elroy
Leggings: Mexx
Shoes: Steve Madden

Sadly, Pretty Things closed on Thursday. I'm sad that such a great independent store is gone but I understand why the owner did it.

I'm probably taking a bit of a break from the blog to deal with some personal things. I appreciate all my virtual friends so much but sometimes real life just sucks and you have to deal. I'll be back.

  4. It's good to have a range of skull-moods! I also like the arrangement and contrasting layers of the ruffles on your dress. That is too bad about Pretty Things; I had noticed many of your special things were from there.

I will miss you a lot, and look forward to your return - all the best while you re-direct your energies where they are needed.

  5. Megan, I'm sending you a big hug virtually, and wishes and prayers that things get better for you soon. I've found myself recently lower than I've been in a long time, and am finally able to ask for some much needed help. Things do feel, well, black, but my blog actually helps to brighten up my day a bit, as do my talented, creative and supportive virtual buddies.

I just realized you don't wear many pants, but these almost look like the slim cropped pants I've become addicted to. You look great.

  6. Love the pleating detail on the dress, and a polka dot cardigan (well, a polka dot anything) will always add a little something cheerful to an outfit. I agree, one skull is definitely glowering more fiercely than the other, do you think they have had a falling out?
I hope you sort out your stuff, Megan, and that you'll be back with us soon. I'll miss you. Take care. xxx

  13. Love the fierce shoes, just the thing to add some edge to an outfit. I'll miss seeing you and your outfits, but real life does have the habit of intruding on our blogging time, so I hope you are able to do what has to be done, and we'll see you back soon.

  15. Great outfit. Love that cardigan. That cracked me up about the more evil of the twins on your shoes. haha
Time away is sometimes necessary. Take care.
