Moving on the floor now babe you're a bird of paradise

Yesterday after work I went to a mall downtown to which I don't usually go. I avoid it because there is a very lovely shoe store in it that is very dangerous. Not only that, I went into a store that I don't usually go into because they usually just have boring clothes.

Much to my surprise I found a few really cute things, including this blouse.

Necklace: Fireworks
Blouse: Papillon from Samuel and Co.
Obi belt: Megan Mae
Pants: Smoking Lily (last worn here)
Shoes: Liebling (last worn here)

I buy a lot of dresses so I don't really own a lot of blouses so I forced myself to only look at separates. I found two blouses but I ended up with a dress anyway.

This blouse is silky and soft and the print is little birdies!

See, birdies! Cute little birdies.

So happy tomorrow is Friday! WHOO!

  1. I love the birds, and the blues, and your shoes, all of it. You look very tall and elegant. You make me think of Monet's Water Lilies.

  2. Oooh that blouse is adorable. I think that's my favorite outfit that you've paired your obi belt with! I'm very bad at buying blouses. I wind up buying tee shirts most of the time because I love buying skirts and pants, but never want to face the perils of ill-fitting shirts.

  3. It's nice to go to different stores sometimes, and what a cute blouse! I also am not really a blouse person - I tend to buy a gazillion skirts and jackets, then have no tops.

Love all the blues and greens in this!

  4. I'm the same, mostly a dress girl, separates are more effort somehow... And I'm incurably lazy!
Love the blouse, what a great print.
Have you trimmed your fringe? It looks very chic!
Have a great weekend, Megan. xxxx

  5. I love this blouse, I want to steal it! Love me some birdies! And the colors are fantastic! I love it paired with your MMD obi belt too! This might be my favorite new things I've seen on you!

  6. Ah birdies! Is this what I have seen described as a conversational print? In that it gets you talking. From the first picture, your blouse looks interesting --- but closer up, if in a meeting with you, I would so have to then chat about birds with you.
