Army majors pull a mean cool truth they're lying by the swimming pool

I have to start this post with the shoes because of the marvelous fabulousity of them.  Even their name is fabulous.

Fluevog Queen Transcendent Jody Elizabeth

Is that heel not a work of art?  Looks like furniture!

That's it. I'm done. I don't need to buy anymore shoes ever again. Ever. *

When I saw these in the Fluevog Fall preview I swooned. It was love. We were meant to be.

What does one wear with such beautiful things?

Jacket: Le Chateau outlet store
T-shirt: ?
Skants: Melow par Melissa Bolduc from the Workshop

I call these "pants" SKANTS (skirt/pants). I've worn these 4 times since buying them and I love them! They are short pants with two overlaying panels that are like a skirt.

I like how the split in the jacket is similar to the shape made by the overlapping skirt parts.

Sorry about the bitch face. I had a bit of a frustrating day.

And the jacket has a military feel. I only paid $20 for it - well worth it I think. It's starting to get cooler now so this jacket will probably be worn a lot this winter.

  4. That is spectacular outfit - love the layers formed by the jacket hem and the skirt-like folds on the Skants. The sheer fabulousness of the shoes is too much to behold. I don't think you should have to buy any shoes again, ever, as nothing will top these ;)

  5. Holy gorgeous shoes, Batman! Truly a fabulous pair. John Fluevog sure knows how to design a lovely heel. I love how the jacket and 'skant' play with each others shape while still letting the shoe steal the show. (Ah, alliteration)

  9. This outfit is perfect. Those skants are a great article of clothing that I now wish I could find for myself. The jacket works great with them. The shoes match your hair. And I'm super glad to see what they look like on a person, since I had been wondering how well that heel balances with a person on the other side of them, and I'm glad to see that they look STUNNING.

  12. Those shoes ... Wow. I covet wooden furniture with curved and carved legs, but on a heel? My coeting has gone off the scale.

The architectural shape of your oufit works so well. And I need a skant.
