Fairy shoes

I wasn't going to blog today because after looking at these photos I thought "UGH! My crap day is evident all over my face. I CAN'T post these." But I'm not always going to have a good day so why not go for realism? I take photos of myself, everyday, at my job so I'm going to have up days and down days.

Today was a very down day. BUT, I'm feeling a bit better about things right now, I had a lovely conversation a little while ago that gave me a little pick up, so without further ado ...

Jacket: Jennifer Glasgow from The Workshop in Ottawa (last worn here)
Skirt: Desigual (last worn here)
Shoes: Poetic License (last worn here)

SO glad I'm getting my hair done on Friday...

These shoes always get a lot of comments. One lady described them as "fairy shoes" and a man on an elevator asked me if they were my dancing shoes. I think if I tried to dance in these I'd hurt myself.

Turning my back on the rest of the day. Here's to tomorrow being better.

  1. What's that saccharine song - the sun will come out tomorrow? Urggg. I'm sure those shoes were a great lift!! I looove them.

  2. The shoes remind me of spearmints, the kind in the clear twisty wraps.

I know, I sometimes look at my ravaged face and wonder why I don't crop my head off (heh), but that's part of it. I think you always look gorgeous, hon.

  3. Well, it's a fabulous outfit - too bad it didn't make the world bow down at your feet, especially with those fabulous shoes on! They're pretty stunning, but the jacket and skirt are really lovely, too.

  8. Ah, everyone's entitled - if we could all look this excellent, these days wouldn't be so brutal! Love your skirt, shoes, and your jacket's closure. Glad to hear things were already looking up by posting-time.

  9. I agree, the tired pics need to go up too. When I am not smiling, that is my big crap-day indication...

However, your humbug shoes are delightful!
