Megan 2.0

Today I gave two weeks notice at my job. In 3 weeks I start a new job, in a new city, in a new province. Well, old province. I'm moving to Toronto. I'm totally FREAKING OUT! I have a job but no where to live. I'm hoping that resolves itself soon. GHA!

Another thing....Toronto....Fluevog....DANGER DANGER!

So there will only be 8-9 more photos in front of this grey door.

Dress: Papillion (last worn here)
Shoes: Pour La Victoire

New heels. Pretty, pretty, pretty.

And I didn't know they would match this dress quite so perfectly.

I'm excited about moving. I'm sort of rebooting my life at 41. Megan 2.0 shall commence in April. Who knows what exciting things await me in Toronto.

Look! I removed the stickers from the bottom of the shoes. Do you ever see people on the street and notice that they have a big sticker from Winners on the bottom of their shoe?  No? Just me?

Pretty, pretty, pretty!

  6. Those are gorgeous shoes. When I see those stickers I want to rip the shoes off the person's feet and remove all the pricing gunk. Seriously, people.

    Love the dress too!

Congrats on your re-boot - that's really exciting!

  8. Congrats on all the newness!! Very exciting, I know it'll be a big change, but it already sounds like a joyous one.

Also urg, I agree about stickers.

Myself, I'm still working in Beta testing to try and get this Megan-ship off the ground.

    1. You've got lots of time. I'm almost 42 and I still don't know what I want to do for a living.

Congratulations on the new version! It sounds so exciting, and at least the job is taken care of. Think how fun it will be to have a new home, new restaurants, new shops...

  10. Two Fluevog stores to be precise! At least as of May 2013. Congratulations! We you still be a fashionable bureaucrat or have you gone to the other side, aka real world private industry? I'm a former bureaucrat so the real world is kind of scary after the safety net of govt. Beautiful dress and shoes. Best wishes!

    1. Flail flail! How did I not know that?? Even better reason to move.

I will still be a bureaucrat, working for the Ontario government so no need to change my blog name.

    2. That was my question too! Glad you will still be a bureaucrat (ssshh, I am one too!).

Your changes sound exciting, but phew - I know it is hard when changes all seem to come at once. Those doors will miss you! Will anyone as stylish stand in front of them again? x

  18. Sounds like a whole lotta changes, but good ones, I think (I feel it in my bones!). I'm kind of excited that now that you'll be in Toronto, we will be able to get together (but no trips to the Fluevog store, I must NOT be tempted).

  19. Oh wow, Megan, big changes. Lots of luck with finding somewhere to live. It must be scary but you obviously feel the need for change, and of course you will continue to look fabulous in your new location!

  20. Congratulations on the new job. Change is scary but it can be good. Age doesn't matter - I became an immigrant at the age of 32, a bit too old for some people it would appear!
Just take the plunge and I'm sue lovely things will happen!

Congratulations on the new job and the move. How exciting! The living situation will resolve itself. Just believe it.

  24. Gorgeous new shoes, you got them! All the colours of these are beautiful. Congrats on the new job, and all best with finding a place. Way to take life by the horns, whoo! "Sorry" about the proximity to Fluevog - Ontario welcomes you!
