Ace Frehley naked

Someone found my blog by searching for "ace frehley naked". I think my work here is done.

In other news, today I drank a latte. Not really news unless you know what I haven't had a coffee since 1995. It was possibly not a good idea since after I drank it I wasn't able to do much productive work and I felt kind of gross. It's not like I don't drink caffeine since I drink tea and Coke Zero like it's going out of style but it didn't really sit well. It tasted pretty darn good though.

Yesterday after work I hobbled over to the Eaton Centre to get a pair of shoes that I could walk home in. Yes, I could have taken the street car and it wouldn't have cost the same as a pair of shoes, but where's the fun in that?

I got these Hush Puppies at Town Shoes. And while there, I ran into a guy who used to work at Cora's in Halifax who is now the Assistant Manager at Town Shoes. o_O. Small world? Yes!

Not exciting shoes but they got me home without stopping and curling up on the sidewalk in pain. So YAY to Hush Puppies! And really, black flats with corset type lacing? Seems good in my book.

Top: Smoking Lily (last worn here)
Skirt: Ziliotto (last worn here)
Tights: Hue (last worn here)
Shoes: Hush Puppies

Look at me! I'm looking over my other shoulder! I'm CRAZY! First coffee, then changing my poses! What's next?

After work I went to the Hollywood Laundromat to some some laundry. Then I went to dinner and had some awesome cherry pie for dessert.

Yes, I do believe I am happy.

Good night!

  1. Okay, why no coffee since 1995? And, that begs the question, why coffee now?

  2. Maybe it was the milk in the coffee that bothered you? Or maybe you already drink milk in which case never mind :)

  4. I haven't had a coffee since about 1988 and would be afraid to see what happened if I had one now. I am also curious as to why you decided to have one now.

It's nice to hear that you are happy! The outfit is perfect for this winter/spring weather and I'm glad you found yourself a pair of walking shoes that don't look like walking shoes. Yay for corset-lacing!

  5. I do believe I'm happy you're happy, Megan!
Cute shoes - and at least they don't give you blisters.
Coffee... I prefer tea but sometimes, only a coffee will do. Will you continue to indulge or was that a crazy one-off experiment? Who knows, in Megan's Mad and Mixed Up World, ANYTHING can happen! xxxx

  6. Adorable flats!!

I adore coffee. It always runs through me though. I usually stick with a coke or something. I agree with Blush and Barebells, it's usually the milk that actually bothers me.

  7. Crazy crazy indeed! I never drink coffee myself, I can't even stand the smell of it but I too get a caffeine fix via various other methods - tea, coke, red bull, iv drip... lol
I love the skirt - so simple yet so pretty, the pleated details on the side :)

  8. See... I told you that you could find a comfy walking shoe worthy of your attention. Those are cute. "Do them have them in other colours," she wonders...

  9. Excellent shoes! I need cute walking shoes. I've walked to work a couple of times since I found out you do. It's not that far (well 4km, but I need the exercise). I also need walking shoes that are cute! No trainers!
